Accompanying cultural events

As part of the Congress, we are preparing an array of accompanying cultural events. The opening will be celebrated with a recital by Martyna Zaniewska – blues singer and sociologist. We have also planned shows of a verbatim theatre play “The Little Doctor Is Back”, performed by Rafał Pietrzak and directed by Joanna Troc (Teatr Czrevo). We will present a documentary “The Magic of Podlasie. Whisperers” directed by Małgorzata Szyszka, and after the film we will take a critical look at the phenomenon of exoticization of the region. The band Czeremszyna will perform for us with traditional songs from the Polish-Belarusian-Ukrainian borderland. In addition, we will invite you to movement breaks, workshops, exhibitions and visits to Białystok galleries and museums.
